Sorely mismanaged organization. They like to cancel seasons and keep the money claiming they are 501c3 so they can keep your registration fee. It is still theft whether you are a for profit or not for profit business. It would be one thing if they applied to the the next season but they do not.

My daughters has been in this league for the past 3 years, we have had our ups and downs and have still tried to understand the running of Irving Soccer Association. Unfortunately due to the lack of compassion and understanding of the people running this organization, we will not be returning. They refuse to issue a full or partial refund. Upon trying to register there is also no discount given for the fall season, as they stated per their email. And I have sent 3 separate emails which they have not replied to in the last few weeks. Save your money and time, speaking from someone who has spent 6 season with this association.
I totally understand the whole covid-19 situation happened therefore that the kids weren’t able to play the whole season but only ONE game but the fact that this Paul Melendez sent the email for us parents basically telling us that there is NO REFUND is ridiculous especially with everything going on. Some parents lost jobs and all and they have NO sympathy to even offer the money back, I at least was expecting for them to say that when Fall season comes around that the Spring kids would be able to get first priority and that they wouldn’t have to pay for any registration fees for fall but they sent an email stating that they won’t be issuing NO REFUNDS or at least try to accommodate the Spring soccer players to play in Fall with fees waived. I guess at the end of the day all they care about is the money they got from all the parents that registered their kids for the spring season.
Covid-19 shut the season down which is completely understandable. My son was not able to play one game. This league did not offer a refund or offer for him to return free in the fall. Instead they offered a discount for the fall. This is completely unprofessional and we will not be returning. Instead we are looking for a different league in the fall. Please listen to the reviews.
ISA board members do their best to stand up for our players, parents and our soccer community. They do their best to spread the soccer love at different community events with parade involvement and trunk-n-treats. I appreciate that they advocate for our practice fields for the ISA players that pay to play. Not all fields are public, and most importantly not all fields have lights. We look forward to many more years in the ISA family. Come let your kids make friends and create memories!
