Ash has been teaching me for 2 years, I can't believe what I've achieved in those 2 short years. Great tutor, calm, unpressured teaching, Makes you feel relaxed. But knows how to challenge you without being pushy to make you a better drummer. He's an inspirational drummer to listen to & watch. Ultimately he wants you to enjoy your drumming & have fun. Ashley is an excellent teacher and communicator in the art of drumming. I have been having lessons and about to do grade 2 rock school. Ashley though is equally adept at teaching other rhythms of jazz which is great Age has no boundaries for Ashley and he knows how to get the best of mature students like me and youngsters who I hear prior to my lesson. West end music is a great place to play and he will come to my music room too. So all round excellent.

My son has been having drum lessons with Ashley for the past 7 years. He is an excellent tutor and has help my son pass grade 5 and is now working on grade 6. He is patient and allows the student to keep trying even if they are find a particular piece hard, he works through it with them help them to learn the technique. I would definitely recommend Ashley for anyone who is looking to learn to play drums, he is a great tutor who has so many different techniques and styles to teach.

Ashley strikes the perfect balance between encouraging my 11 year old son to work hard and do his best, whilst still engaging him in a fun hobby. James has made excellent progress under Ashley's professional and perceptive tuition. Highly recommended.

Ashley is a really easy going nice fella and an extremely talented drum tutor, he is very passionate about his students, cultivates a relaxed atmosphere and knows how to get the best out of a student. He has been teaching my son Tom for 4 years, during this time he has taken Tom from total beginner to a skilled proficient drummer, Tom is now studying for grade 5, and continues to develop. I would highly recommend Ashley to anyone wishing to learn to play the drums.
