It is a very safe and clean environment. I did not hesitate to eat from their silverware, or drink from their glasses during this pandemic. They follow social distancing guidelines very well. This Caribbean restaurant is actually Haitian ran. The food is high quality and very tasty..... It's expensive but dont look at that. Look at the quality. You won't regret.

The food was good and the server was very friendly. The atmosphere had a club/bar feel to it. It was dark inside with globe lights. It's not particularly small child friendly due to not having high chairs, booster seats or slings. The cole slaw was spicy.

I'm not an expert on Haitian food, but everything I had was excellent. We ordered takeout, and noted that a few of the translations on the menu were slightly different from descriptions of dishes we found online. The griot (somewhat similar to carnitas in flavor, though not shredded) and goat stew were probably my favorites. Rich, well-seasoned, and filling. The spice profile is warm rather than hot (think more nutmeg than cayenne), and dishes are all served with plantains and red beans and rice. One thing to note: the stews we ordered (turkey, goat, and oxtail) were cooked with cuts that have a lot of bone and cartilage. This means you get all that delicious, sticky marrow in a thick, rich sauce BUT it also means you'll have a pile of bones on your plate once your through and be picking the meat off the bones. (Not a complaint! Just a warning to less adventurous eaters to set expectations). Definitely a new favorite on the east side of Indy!
