Being a frequent coffee house chess player for casual games, this is my go-to place for tournaments. Why? - Single board per table - Quiet, spacious, clean, relaxing environment - Variety of events makes it fresh (slow, blitz, dual rated etc) Just wish they had more events to quench my competitive thirst. But oh well, there's only so many days a week!

If I could only give ZERO stars I would. The owner of this establishment, Kwunnie Ng, is an embarrassment to chess players all around. She is RUDE, has NO TACT, and even refuses players for absolutely no reason players to participate in tournaments offered at her club. Moreover, my son and daughter visited one time and had a terrible experience. Unless you want to have a sad chess experience, I would NEVER recommend such a place for anyone to play chess. This hellhole also charges nonsense \fees\ for every tournament they have, in addition to the entry fee already charged to play in the tournament just to nickel and dime people for more out of their hard-earned money! *** AVOID LIKE THE BUBONIC PLAGUE PEOPLE!!!!! *** Trust me, you will thank me later.
This is the 4d chess I've been looking for. It was an absolute pleasure to be here
