This is one of the very 1st restaurants we dined in after suffering from COVID-19. All we had from Andes Cafe was pork belly but it was Oh So Yummy! The chef David was so pleasant and very caring of what customers have to say about his cooking. We chatted with him while wearing our mask which was hard but we manage to get our points across. His restaurant story and life story was so touching. I love the South American inspired food he brings to Houston. I'm looking forward to dining in soon and chat with him again. He made the 1st outing very comfortable and wasn't pushy. I recommend this spot if you are looking for some delicious pork belly in downtown.

I love Andes Café. I used to go to it when it was in second ward on Canal St. I recently went to their new location in Bravery Hall Downtown. It was hard to find but it's one of the last restaurants near the patio/garden. The food is still amazing and I liked the feel of the food hall. I asked the chef if he could make me an old dish they had on the older menu and he did. I will be going back.

When it was on canal st it was one of my favorites, last time I visited was on travis st and it was disappointing to say the least, food was cold taste was not the same as before and portions significantly smaller. They should do way better specially with those prices. We talked to the employee and he apologized and was professional but it was kinda late we were disappointed I hope when they move again it will go back to what it was.

I miss the old location terribly, but satisfied I can finally enjoy this place again! I’ve been twice to the new location, for brunch, and also dinner. Not nearly as extensive of a menu as before, but incredible and authentic South American food.

Had a lovely time when I went there with my mom. The service was amazing and the food was super tasty. The ceviche is on the spicier end (warning to those who can't stand spice) but it was very tasty. They have so many dishes from lots of countries, making it a perfect restaurant to try different dishes from Latin America. So if you're curious about Latin culture and cuisine, this place will give you a good representation of such )

They moved from their previous location to a type of trendy food court. They are in a good area with plenty of parking. They lost some of the items on their menus in the move. the empanadas were okay but stuffed with more than 50% yuca.

Very disappointed with the food, it tasted like poorly home made food. The ceviche tasted old. The cashier was also the cook, I did not see him washing his hands or wear gloves after handling customers credit cards. Their online menu also needs to be updated...

Fantastic flavors! The place is a hidden gem. Wonderful ambience however the food here is main attraction. Highly recommended.
