I went to hotel gavkari. There I had black chicken in starters and gavkari chicken thali. Black chicken was delicious and came in good quantity like 3 person can eat it easily. Thali was also good but the gravy of chicken masala and egg cury was ok types . The best thing about the thali was pandhra rassa, i loved it. Solkadi was also good.

If you are in or around kharghar & want to try authentic lip smacking kolhapuri cuisine then do try Hotel Gavkari! It is a small outlet but this place serves delicious thalis! We tried - Dry fry chicken : it was really good, chicken pieces coated in authentic kolhapuri masala! Special Gavkari Chicken thali : it consisted of tambda rassa, pandhra rassa, chicken masala, bhakri/chapati, kheema, egg curry, biryani. Chicken thali : it consisted of tambda rassa, pandhra rassa, chicken masala, bhakri/chapati,egg curry, biryani. Also we had buttermilk! Everything was delicious! Do try out this place!

Hotel Gavkari serves authentic Kolhapuri style mutton and chicken preparations at pocket friendly prices. It's a small no frills eatery which can accommodate upto 15 people at a time. They've got another branch at Koparkhairane. All the food is freshly prepared with finest of ingredients. Sanitization measures need to be taken care of. Here's a glimpse of what we tried:- Chicken Dry Fry:- A mix of boned and boneless chicken marinated in kolhapuri spices and shallow fried. The chicken used was tender and juicy. (4/5) Special Chicken Thali:- A huge thali comprising of thick and spicy chicken curry, mutton kheema, rice bhakari, egg curry, tambda rassa, pandhra rassa, and pulao. My favorite part of the thali was pandhra rassa (4/5) Special Mutton Thali:- Thali comprising of black mutton, kheema, pandhra rassa, tambda rassa, pulao, and rice bhakari. Again the rassas were nice and yummy. (5/5) Do try this place for some typical kolhpauri cuisine

This place serves authentic village style food, do try their non veg Gavkari dishes they are delicious, felt a quantity bit on the lower side, but taste wise it was brilliant. Hey Foodies, I'm ardent fan of Kolhapuri Cuisine. N number of times had tasted it at Warje, Pune branch when a mutton Thali used to cost 180. Dined here at Kharghar branch for the first time. Ordered Usual Gavkari Mutton Thali. Pandhra Rassa was good n Tambda was Ok. But Mutton Sukka, the main dish, disappointed me. It seems that they don't cook the masala n mutton together. Boiled mutton pieces were added as an afterthought. Not homogeneous in taste at all. Mutton was half cooked and not juicy or tender. I may not visit it again unless someone holds me at gunpoint.

Small and tiny place with lots of magic in it. Gavkari serve authentic maharashtrian food and thalis. They have so many options in there menu typically related maharashtrian cuisine. Food was excellent we tried STARTER: Dry Fry chicken MAINS : gavkari Mutton thali ( speciality) & Chicken kharda thali. The taste was superb. Rotis Rice in it was soft and fresh. They also have solkadi and chass in drinks menu. Totally in love with this place. It’s definitely a must try place. SERVICE : 5/5 AMBIENCE: 4/5 FOOD 5/5
