My experience at Kite The Gorge was epic. I had two amazing teachers who were knowledgeable and fun to work with. My progression was fast and I felt safe with instructors who kept me in the fun zone and within my limits. They had headsets and radios built into the helmets so I got great instruction and instant coaching at each stage of the experience. The headsets were awesome!!!! We could communicate back and forth and I think I learned a ton in a short time because of them. All of the gear we used was new and clean and easy to learn with. We used multiple different size kites depending on the wind conditions. Also, I felt comfort knowing they had a wave runner ready to swoop me out of the water if I got into a sticky situation. After learning from kite the gorge I realize how valuable professional instruction is In the sport of kiteboarding. Overall my experience was exhilarating and I highly recommend using Kite The Gorge if you are new to kiting and want to learn from the pros.

Spring and Carlos and all the staff at Kite the Gorge are dedicated to getting you out on the water with the best gear and instruction. I started this year and after two lessons felt confident to buy gear and start my own kiting practice. With two-way radio helmets and jet ski support my wipeouts were quickly reset. As I tried to kite, the instructor was able to give advice real-time through the radio irrespective of whether I was near or far from him. This is a serious place of instruction which will make your kite dreams come true!
