My family enjoyed a beautiful day on the boat and saw whales, dolphins, and turtles. Captain DJ and his crew, Brandon and Alexio, were great. I can tell they worked hard at detailing the boat proper and maintained sanitization the whole trip. It was a super clean boat, they provided ponchos when the rain came, and snacks. Adult beverages are available. Thanks for a fun day!

We boarded on time. They made sure everyone wore their masks, they explained rules and gestures when asking for help in the water. Very helpful and accommodating. They offered life jackets for anyone who didn’t feel comfortable with just the banana floater. I lost my flipper in the water and of the crew members dove in the water and found it for me. Drinks were free, the snack were mini packs of tuna and chicken salad with crackers, not best but whatever. All in all I would recommend Pink Sails and their crew except the photographer! He came off rude, pushy and irritated. The advertising of the pictures were you would get anywhere between 50-70 pictures and had one sample to show us. What he fell to mention was that those pictures included EVERYONE on the boat with a slight chance of you being in any of them. 50 for 2 people for pictures wasn’t worth it, my husband and I were only in maybe 5. He kept telling everyone it isn’t his responsibility to make sure we keep up with him, another person told him to stop yelling and he got upset and said “I’m not yelling at you guys I’m trying to tell yo keep up with me” but he was yelling. Getting upset because people weren’t keeping up with him and when the did he asked them to move back. The experience itself I would recommend, just take your go pro if you have one to take your own pictures.
These guys are awesome! Friendly, courteous, professional, knowledgeable, funny, and all around cool crew. Pink Sails was recommended to us by a local and they did not disappoint. We went out on their turtle snorkeling excursion and enjoyed it so much we booked a sunset sail for later in the week. If you're in the Waikiki area, I highly recommend checking these guys out!
Phenomenal experience. It was a surprise for my husband’s birthday. He loved swimming in the open ocean and the crew was fabulous. The Sunset Cruise was absolutely amazing.
Good crew. Professional and safe. We set sail on time for the whale watching. They provided some snacks but don’t expect a dinner from that. Overall, it was a good tour and we saw some whales too. Crush the turtle had to work hard to ensure that the whales swam by the catamaran
One of the highlights of our trip! We booked a sunset cruise for our group of 7. Our 3 children had a blast, and the crew was great! They checked in with everyone, took pictures, let the kids drive the boat, and had everyone laughing. Super relaxed vibe, and gorgeous views. Perfect for your Hawaiian vacation.
We're a group of San Diegans who frequent boat cruises back home. We booked a sunset cruise with pink sails and showed up dressed up (like we do). It was perfect for what we wanted - a nice cruise at sunset with reasonably priced drinks - an awesome view and great photos. Plenty of people went swimming and enjoyed the trip in a more standard Hawaii way but we had a great time doing things our way :)
I cannot write enough good things about Pink Sails. I would do it again even if the price were double. We were really lucky to see whales, but honestly it would have been totally worth it even without that. It was just relaxing and the crew was so fun and friendly with such a chill vibe. We just listened to good music and hung out on the ocean with beautiful views of Hawaii. But to top it off though, we did see whales. The crew were determined to find them for us and it was not disappointing. Living in California and Hawaii, I have seen whales many times, but this was incredible. I have never seen them so close and they were amazing in their natural beauty. And if that wasn't enough, on the way back they stopped the boat by a turtle spot so we could see them in person too. It was fun to see the crews' relationship with the other boat crews as well. They all help each other out and seem to honestly be friends. The whole thing just leaves you feeling happier, friendlier, more peaceful and relaxed. Highly recommend for both tourist and locals.
