Cannot recommend enough: The surveyor was very communicative over the phone, helping to identify the necessary report that I would need for my purchase. The survey was undertaken quickly and a report generated within a day of the visit. The report was very detailed and thorough. The surveyor was on-hand to call at any time to discuss specific issues or questions. Very friendly and patient. In short, this guy stopped me from buying a place with significant hidden issues. I would recommend and use his services again.

I approached Homestead Building Surveyors for a structural survey after finding their services listed on reallymoving.com. David arranged to carry out the survey through the vendor's estate agent promptly, and the report was produced and emailed to me the morning after it had been carried out. The report itself was very thorough, and identified some hidden issues with the property. My father called David to talk through some of the issues that the survey identified, and he was only too happy to help and provide additional guidance, and answer our questions. David offered a very prompt, professional service and he paid great attention to detail at a very reasonable price. Would absolutely recommend.
