My best tofu meal experience with stunning nature view and you get to feel so close to nature. I love the boiled tofu with lot of green onion. Like the miso grilled tofu, but ain't able to finish the tofu jam soup it felt weird to me. However, I encourage you to order the soft tofu full set, such as experience.

Admittedly the place is really beautiful, (only meaningful for those window seats.. Tofu was with good quality. But there were very limited food choices. And I didn’t expect the cooking as such simple. I believe good tofu could taste better with well match ingredients. In conclusion it’s a place people dine for art and culture, but not for taste.

This restaurant is amazing!!! Great location, relaxing atmosphere. Perfect for a meal in proper Japanese style. The food is divine and not expensive, considering quality and location. Note that Kyoto’s cuisine is famous for its light taste... too bland for many Westerners.

If you don't understand the language, THIS PLACE IS A TOFU SHOP. Although the scenery is nice at this restaurant, but it doesn't justify the food to be subpar. Initially, I thought it was a dessert place, but I should've check out the review before coming in. Secondly, they don't let you just order their limited dessert items without ordering their tofu combo dishes range from 3000 to 4000 yen. I was a little disappointed with the taste of most dishes except for the milk plus ginger dessert (ordered separately). Overall, unless you're adventurous or interested in the nice scenery. Like others mention before, it's a place for art not for taste and I would recommend to skip this place.

Expensive price. Almost 35 per person. Mild taste. But delicious
