I placed a click and collect order which they acknowledged, re-acknowledged and finally delivered too late. Tried to cancel by phone but no reply. I had to go to the store instead. No temperature check, no Covid check -in and one person serving. Floor assistant came far too close and another was not wearing her mask properly.

I use this store frequently. It’s a really good size and has a great selection of clothes and homeware. The click and collect service is handy also. I’ve picked up small Ikea orders at the store. I’ve never had any issues in the 8 years I’ve been a customer at this store.
New pillows weren't the best quality, not sure what I was expecting for the price but it wasn't to buy a new set only a few months later.
I like this Matalan above all others. There new homeware is amazing. I said to my friend lets go there after we couldn't park at John Lewis and she thought I was mad but had to admit, once she saw the amazing cushions and homeware, that I was right! Easy parking and generally OK staff. Regular visitor with no problems except it is really hot in the Summer so I avoid.
Staff are nice and polite but there is never enough staff on the tills and therefore always a queue. In the summer it is unbearably hot due to inadequate ventilation/cooling.
