Brings me back to my childhood... layback, great food, and awesome way to spend time as a family️ I'm so happy to allow my children to experience they will never forget and cherish it as I have. Great prices and friendly staff! Beautiful surroundings... ️

My first drive in experience was actually the Garth Brooks concert thing as opposed to an actual movie. Roy's had great customer service and clean concessions/ bathrooms. The pizza was GREAT. The drive in experience was even better than I had anticipated. We will be back the moment a worthwhile movie is showing!

I came with my friends (all of us 15-16) to watch a movie. The movie we were going to watch ended up not playing and instead an R rated movie was playing. We were going to leave so we wanted to be refunded for our tickets. We were told that we couldn’t be refunded because they had “already counted up everything”. Again, we COULDNT watch the movie because none of us are 17. We lost about 40.

I enjoyed the experience and the movie price was reasonable. I am ratings this just ok because, the sound on the east screen was only came through our right speaker clearly the left speaker was super quiet and garbled no matter what adjustments we made to the balance. Also because the concession stand food was cafeteria quality at best. we spent 35 on food for the 2 of us and were only really happy with how freshness of the boxed candy.

Perfect summer night in South Dakota and what to do? Why go to a drive-in movie! Visiting from the east and hasn’t been to a drive in in 30 years! Roy’s has 2 screens each with double features and you tune on the sound through your radio. Even had the dog with us in the van. Loved it!

The one Star is for the two younger cashiers that kept touching their noses and mouths (biting nails, rubbing noses) before/after touching food containers, cups, and other items. This would be worrisome during regular food handling circumstances but during a pandemic it was extremely frightening and reckless. I would hope there would be more caution especially when so many folks are turning towards a social distance experience like the drive-in. Hope the concession team takes more precarious to ensure safety of customers.

This is a fantastic social distancing activity! The sound comes thru FM loud and clear, the screens are easy to see and the snacks are priced very well. They will even jump your car when you run your battery flat. 10/10 will be back again.

We went to an Encore Concert Presentation at Roy's Drive In in Hermosa SD. Drive In's through out the country and Canada were presenting Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani, and Tracy Adkins in Concert. It was a different yet wonderful experience, staff were courteous, people friendly, and had a wonderful time. Will definitely be going again.
