I ordered a takeaway by phoning up and the person on the phone kindly told us there would be a 2 hour wait due to how busy it was which was no problem for us. When are food arrived it was very enjoyable, we will be ordering again soon :)

Ordered a takeaway as a special birthday treat. Unfortunately it was inedible - my noodles tasted really burnt, and the chilli beef was gloopy and tasted of nothing at all. So disappointed.
Food arrived 15 mins late, after preordering 1.5hrs in advance. Quality was extremely poor - chewy chips, one normal sized rib and one tiny bit of gristle (part of the appetizer for 2), prawn toast was just bread soaked in oil, barely any noodles under a layer of raw peppers and cashews, chicken in sweet and sour was rock solid, inedible. Called restaurant to explain this and ask for my money back, first person I spoke to said they were used to complaints but they couldn't do anything. Then spoke to Bobby who also told me they would not refund me any money as there was no way their food would be late or bad, then I asked to speak to the boss. Boss name was Helen and she said she didn't have time to speak to me and that there was no way I could be telling the truth. After a long talk and hearing the phone being passed around various members of staff unwilling to take the the time to refund us, whole audibly complaining about us, she said they would refund me 20 of my 35 order but that she didn't know how to do it so it would have to wait until one of their staff members could do it. I was assured I would be refunded by the end of the night. I have received no money and when trying to call Lotus it goes straight to voicemail. We threw the food in the bin and ordered a new meal with New Jasmine House in Creddenhill, service was excellent and food delicious. Maybe Lotus should take some tips from them.
I am very disappointed all of a sudden like so much celery, not good beef, only meat with veins and only five pieces of meat. sauce that you can swim in it I understand the bad time is now but not at all costs the customer will accept everything
Worst Chinese we’ve had in years. Won tons no filing Ribs - just bone Satay - not sure it’s seen a peanut - but to be fair edible Crispy beef worst I’ve ever had. Soggy, chewy, slimy - tasteless except for the big chunk of orange peel.
