Great place to picnic, play, spend time with friends and family. Skate park, beach volleyball, lawn games, kids play area; restrooms close by. Nice view of the Königstuhl.

A great place to hang out. Enjoy nature along with a game of volleyball, table tennis, football etc. with a bunch of friends by the river. In my opinion, it's the best place to chill for those lazy afternoons. If friends are a rarity then the ducks will keep you company
The Nekar is a nice river with a long stretch of grass making for a nice park. Various fields for sports or play grounds exist for activities. And there. Are places for BBQ. Drinking is allowed, and it's very nice place.
Great place to hang out in the summer. Lots of very diverse groups do so all the time. Meeting point for youths on the weekends. The geese are nice, too.
