Neumanali opened six years ago and quickly became a neighborhood favorite. menu features both fresh and seasonal entrees in addition to a selection of fun and unusual small plates. Perennial favorites are the -seared day boat scallops, grilled ribeye and pan seared pork chop. The wine list is a bit eclectic and features smaller, more difficult to find winery selections. Lush garden dining is available now.

I love Neumanali. The scallops and the fillet mignon are my favorite main dish. The ambient is amazing for a romantic night out with the wife, or to have a beer at the bar after a long meeting. Expect a great wine list, and be ready to appreciate the great art that decorates the place. Definitely the hidden jewel of the bay.

Valentine's Day seems so long ago as so much has happened in the world since. After being married so long, we avoid dining out the day of and instead celebrate before or after. This year, we went on a quiet Thursday evening to local Neumanali which if you weren't looking for it, you would miss it. Without the limited set prix-fixe, we created our own choosing from their full menu. For appetizers, wild mushroom on garlic bruschetta and for me steamed clams in a rich garlic broth that is easily enough for a light meal in itself, both tasty. Entrees were the salmon which was perfectly cooked and moist and the dry rubbed double cut pork chops which unfortunately lived up to part of it's name, dry as it was way overcooked. For dessert, we shared the flourless chocolate cake which was decadent and a perfect ending to the meal. Impressed with a single server running the whole show on the floor especially since the restaurants weren't emptied out at that time giving it a 4 star.

Casual elegance that made for a great evening. Chopped salad, wild mushroom bruschetta, scallops, filet, chocolate cake and apropos wine list. Waiter added just the right touch of personality. Great for special night as well. Truly enjoyed. I highly recommended this place.

This place is as close to a 5 star fancy restaurant you can get in the bay area. Located in a Victorian house, It's a must come! I reserved a table weeks in advance, foods amazing, fancy, and romantic. Great place for a date or proposal.
