I really enjoyed the day with Mark & Sam at Malham. Lots of pragmatic advice on how to get the best from the pictures taken at these great locations. Their philosophy is based on extracting the maximum information from the sensor 'at the time of the shot'. This allows us/them to produce print quality digital images next day. Very down to earth guys, easy to understand.

Was brought this as a retirement present and decided to go on the spring Malham trip. I thought I knew my way around a camera but still found plenty to learn and am very pleased with the results I got on a day that I would have regarded as unpromising weather wise. As well as being excellent photographers and patient guides Sam and Mark are good company. You’ll get to stretch your legs a bit as well. Basically a grand day out in the Yorkshire countryside. The only down side is I might now have to spend money on a tripod that actually works. David Latham

I was given a voucher for a natural light photography workshop as a birthday present and decided eventually to do the Malham course. I had an absolutely amazing time, thoroughly enjoying the day.Sam and Mark were both very knowledgeable and approachable, spending a lot of time to explain techniques and how to get the best out of the camera. Not only did I learn so much from the course but I also had a great day out. The icing on the cake was the processing session on the following day- I can't wait to start editing my photos!

I can't recommend Natural Light Photography workshops highly enough. I've just completed the autumn Bolton Abbey workshop in damp conditions, but Sam and Mark were great, with their enthusiasm, knowledge and skills. I learnt so much and it has inspired me to take a renewed interest in landscape photography. The processing course was also invaluable and gave me new insights in using Photoshop and Lightroom. Altogether a great experience.

I would thoroughly recommend a workshop with Sam and Mark, they are excellent tutors, knowledgeable and easy to be with with a lovely well thought out walk with plenty variety and opportunities to learn skills. The processing day was equally good if a little mind blowing to someone new to Lightroom and photoshop. Thank you both for a great two days.
