Har ki Pauri, located in haridwar is about 30km away from my place. I have my childhood memories attached with that pilgrimage. I used to bunk my schools and go there with my friends and have fun. At that time Har Ki Pauri has no proper facilities like parking motor vehicles and shoes counter to put your shoes safe especially when you go take a holly bath. Infact not flying machines to get to the temples like Chandi devi and Mansadevi. But in past few years things have been drastically changed in Har ki Pauri in terms of the development. Now you get everything thing you look for like parking, shoe counter, etc. I went there last year with my friends and it was fun, everything has changed there, More clean ghats, public announcements, etc. We have had a bath in the holly Ganga river and did prayers also. Everything was good there except for one thing that lacks there is there is no such secure place to keep your clothes, you have to keep it on the stairs of the ghat. I hope administration will provide that facility soon.

Very interesting Ghat . This Ghat in bola Geri road . This is very good and peaceful Ghat. Overall my experience is very good in this Ghat.
Ghat is full of temples and shivling... Easy to notice but there is sign or board naming birla ghat.. You have to cross birla ghat to go chandi devi mandir
Good place, from here you can get into the river Ganges (Ganga) for Holy Dip. It is usually a crowded in festival time but, when we reach there , few people are spotted. We clicked some pics and have our lunch at a nearby hotel.
Good Ganga Ji Ghat . Approachable by four Wheeler.
Ganga river current is high speed here.Better to hold embedded iron chain while taking bath
Peaceful ghat, please do not visit after 7:00 PM. I will filled with heavu somkers(Sulfa Smoker) after 7:00 PM.
Very beautiful ghat on Ganga Ji for safe bathing and evening prayers. Very peaceful place.
