Superb. A great, fair, honest, and incredibly helpful guy, Garry was the best. Sharpened all of my knives, axes and various other items to a mirror finish, shaving sharp, for a very fair price. A pleasure to meet who I look forward to doing business with in the near future. The photo here doesn't remotely do it justice. Please do not think this review is fake, as I do when I see reviews that complement a business so much, I cannot recommend Garry and his business enough!
Gary was fantastic! I had a lot of dog grooming scissors to sharpen and he was so patient when I couldn't get any courier to take the parcel and eventually brought them to him in person when I had time. I was surprised how long they took to be done since the mobile sharpeners used to take no time at all when they came round. But Gary explained to me that this was because all the pairs had been sharpened poorly - not even close to the correct angles and done in a rush. He corrected all of this for me on about 13 pairs of scissors! I forgot what it was like to cut with sharp scissors and am very happy! I'll definitely use him again next time!
Great work. Old blunt Sabatiers are now back to their very best alongside a number of other knives i had given up on. Huge value because I won't need to buy another knife for quite some time. Highly recommended.
20/11/20 Gary has done a wonderful job of restoring 2 pairs of Victorian carving sets back to there full working order and glory ,I was delighted with his service and the collect and drop off Is a great help ,I have used him a few times and always been satisfied ,He’s very friendly and honest and reliable and knowledgeable about knifes ,so I felt I did not have to worry about putting my knifes in his hands ,so thanks to him I use them and get great pleasure When people comment on them and how lovely they look ,would definitely recommend him ,and will be using him again and again , BRIAN ,TEDDINGTON ,
