The service was efficient and professional. Water was filled and the waiter checked on me a few times. The food is excellent as well. I ordered Alinazik (eggplant Shia kebab) and yağli dolma (wrapped grape leaves with spiced rice and nuts). Each table will come with fresh vegetables, olives, and water (they include a minimal charge for it 1 at the time I was there). I ended with Kunefe. Since I’ve eaten the best Kunefe in Antep (Gaziantep) already, it isn’t the best, but still much better than many places in Istanbul. Highly recommended! Best of all, the views is gorgeous!

Simply the best Kebab restaurant in Eminonu area. Stunning view of the Bosphorus and Sulaymani Mosque. Elegant place with professional service. Reservation is recommended.
Delicious food, more expensive than other restaurants in the same area, but quality of food is much better. View is good. Outdoor space is available.
Sometimes cN be crowded but overall good restaurant, i recommend the kebab with pistachio
I had reserved a table a few days ago but on the day itself I wanted an earlier time - someone at Hamdi got it touch and had it sorted for me. The roof terrace has great views of the blue mosque and Galata tower. We got some starters but the highlight of the meal was the kebabs - the kebab in yoghurt was super tender and the chicken skewers also just melted in your mouth! Serious food coma!!
The baddest restaurant we ate in Istanbul was hamdi restaurant. Verry bad service, the staff don't know how to smile, rude. We didn't eat what we ordered. The waiter didn't even ask why we didn't eat or if we didn't like it. Never had that bad lahmacun anywhere else. The hummus was bad aswell and my husband ordered yogurt kebab, it was not to eat. Prices too high and verry low quality. The only plus point was the view. I hope we won't get a food poison!! When you know Istanbul and the food they offer then you will understand if u eat in that restaurant. Not recommended at all! Most Other places much cheaper and verry delicious!!!
Excellent kebabs and very good service. ask for seating on the roof top terrace. They will bring tray of mezze/ appetizers to pick from just pick a few and save you appetite for the fabulous Kebabs. The charred eggplant salad , home made breads and lamb kebab were great.
