I frequently walk past this lovely place nestling in the valley on the edge of fountainhead village and have always wanted to try it out. Sunday lunch with a friend was excellent. Lovely friendly staff, very good prices and excellent food in a historic building, all delicious. Definitely will be going back.

The staff were so lovely, helpful polite, and happy. It was easy to book on line. It has a lively atmosphere. The menu was limited but what we had was nice. We will be going back
For the first time we went for an early Sunday anniversary lunch with my wife and as usual the standard was high. The food was good and hot, the service 3xceptional and the ambience great. What more could be asked for except to keep open after lockdown.
Beautiful pub lovely food and great staff can highly recommend.
Very nice Sunday roast dinner and pint of Ale... Made welcome by the polite and friendly staff..
