If you can't figure out the Glasgow subway system, you shouldn't leave the house--it's that easy! I'm not sure whether this is closer than the Patrick Station for getting to the Riverside Museum, but this one does involve using the free ferry boat (which is kind of fun, but you may have to wait 10 minutes or more, since it only fits about 8-10 people). Also nearby is the Govan church, which is beautiful and has stones from the Viking era.

Too fast and too easy to use
Fast, cheap only reason for not giving 5 stars is the poor Sunday service. 10-6 is just not good enough.
Check the interesting history of this part of Glasgow.
Very difficult to use if you have a baby buggy. The attendants unnecessarily force you to fold it up, even if there is nobody on the train.
Very Frequent, Stay away from rush hour when young children are present
