I had had an electrician out, from a large and well-known firm, who charged me 120, but who couldn't fix the problem in the call out time, and recommended (a week and two prompts later) a full inspection that would have cost, if I'd taken them up on this, er, 1700. I turned to Goodelectrics because of the positive reviews, and I am so glad I did. Simon replied to my email enquiry within 2 minutes. He was able to come to my house very quickly, and when he did he took 20 minutes to locate the problem, and 20 minutes to fix it. The star rating is no lie: he's an absolute star himself, and I can't recommend him more highly.

Last Sunday I had a really urgent issue of low voltage coming through my flat. Since the evening and the weeks before my lights kept flickering up to the point I had to shut the power as my appliances were not starting up. Simon came within two hours of me ringing on a Sunday morning as I explained it was urgent, managed to find a low voltage issue that is down to my supplier. He rang them personally and spoke to the supplier who then sent down another guy within 4 hours and the issue was resolved that day. Even though the issue was out of his hands his quick response was highly appreciated.
Simon redid the wiring for almost our entire house, and we were so happy with their services that we also asked them to put in our electrical underfloor heating for an excellent price. They are an excellent team and very nice to boot, and are happy to help with any questions or fixes. Highly recommended.
Simon rewired our entire house, put down underfloor heating and all other little electric and building jobs. He is an absolute star, goes above and beyond what is expected (worked well into the night because he did not want to leave us without working electrics). Highly recommend.
Can’t recommend highly enough. Simon and his team did all the electricals from rewiring, to IT and lighting, on a major reno of a Victorian terrace. The quality, attention to detail, efficiency and service were absolutely first rate. Not only are the results terrific, Simon went above and beyond, with design ideas, installation of an alarm system, and generous help with last-minute work crucial to finishing the project.
