Excellent service and careful repair of a challenging stained glass panel, which had bent with panes shattered; Stephen replaced the glass and fixed the leadwork brilliantly, restoring it to its original shape and colour.
I used Stephen in 2017 to repair a badly damaged 1903 stained glass window beside my front door in Kingsborough Gardens (Hyndland, Glasgow ). My son's friend had hit a football against it. Stephen removed the window, replaced the broken glass with excellent matches and it looks as good as new (well, as it looked before the accident). He took the window out and boarded up, and brought the repaired panel back and puttied it in, all exactly on schedule and on budget. He is a thoughtful, polite, professional and dedicated craftsman, as we already knew having used him on a smaller piece of internal stained glass a few years ago when the leading needed replaced/ strengthened and he did all this in situ. Would not hesitate to recommend. If you can work with Edwardian stained glass sympathetically you are basically the real deal, which Stephen is.
