The food here was very good. The maitre-D or Madame was not very welcoming and the chefs behind the bar were giggling at us all struggling to decide what to eat as the menu was very confusing. However she cracked a smile when I expressed at the end of the meal in very limited Japanese that the food was good. I recommend taking the Chefs choice or Your choice menu as the a la carte menu charges a cover charge of 1000 per person which is typical of Japan (normally 2-300 yen) but we felt limited on what we could add on top. We were the only Westerners in here and it was quite a cold atmosphere but the good food made up for it. It is in the heart of Gion though and we did see a Geisha afterwards.

A great experience of the local cuisine
評価が良かったので安心して伺いましたが男性シェフがカウンターにいるもののドアを開けても無反応。。 思わずやっているのか確認してしまいました。 立地を考えるとコスパも良く、お料理は美味しかったものの、お店の前に飾られた写真では手毬寿司や湯葉など入ってもっと豪華な感じがしました。実際は煮物率が高くちょっとガッカリ。3500円の方も写真は鯖寿司でしたが実際は大根ご飯で落差が大きく頼まなくて良かったです。祇園ってこんな商売も成り立つのですね。。 写真と同質、若しくは豪華な場合はありますが劣る事はあまり経験がなかったのと最初の印象も良くなかったので辛口評価にさせて頂きました。
SNSの投稿を見て予約をして、ランチに伺いましたが、美味しかったです️ スタッフの女の子達も非常に愛想が良く、また伺いたいと思えるお店でした️ 次は夜の通常営業の時に行きたいです！
Buon ristorante tipico con un menù fisso semplice e uno dello chef. In entrambi i casi potete comporlo con una portata principale e con altre scelte. Hanno un menù in inglese e accettano carta di credito. Il cibo era tutto buono e il menù dello chef da 5000 (ce sono vari fino a 12000) per me è stato più che sufficiente.
