I have lived in Gastonia my whole life and even worked on the same road as this place. I never knew it was here until last year when we heard through a friend about it. My son as well as myself are deeply interested in the history of our military and this place was perfect. It taught both of us our county's history but with a local spin because of all the artifacts they have from veterans and their families that are from this area. The veteran who gave us our tour could not have been more informative and attentive to my son who is 8. He told stories of the artifacts, his friends and even of his own. I am very thankful for this hidden treasure in Gastonia and hope that more people will hear about and support it. It is so important for the younger generations to learn about and appreciate our past and what this country believes in and stands for. Thank you to the museum and the incredible people who give their time to keeping this place going. I strongly recommend that everyone take the time to go and see what they have and you will probably even learn a few things you did not know about your hometown.

Great place to visit here in Gastonia.
Gastonia's hidden gem. If you do 1 thing in Gastonia this should be it! Awesome artifacts and knowledgeable staff to bring it all to life
A great place to visit and learn about all the military actions the USA has been involved in. Knowledgeable and friendly veteran volunteers to answer your questions and share their experiences in recent wars. Many rooms to explore.
