Friendly service and amazing food. It was my first time experiencing Ethiopian and I will be back. The server helped me order. She suggested something "safe" and something "unique". I had 6 children with me and we all enjoyed the experience. Highly recommend.

Food is good but Make sure you take a picture of your receipt including the tip. Your receipt and the bank statement might not match.

Love this place! It's best to go during the week, or late around 2pm on weekdays, as the line is ridiculous at normal breakfast/lunch times on weekends (you can and will wait 30mins to an hour). Or better yet, order your food to go!

As an Ethiopian, I'm very picky when it comes to the test of our food and since I moved to the Dallas area 2 years ago, I've visited almost all the Ethiopian restaurants in the DFW area and none of them where to my standard in terms of the test although they had a great customer services. Kezira Cafe is the one place where I felt the real test. Their butter is authentically Ethiopian and reminiscent of my childhood. My wife (who is also Ethiopia) and I ordered the Kitfo, Derik Tibs and the Doro Wote to go. It was the BEST Ethiopian food we had in a long time.
