A beautiful and exotic place to visit and explore! It’s one 24 hours but I would highly recommend going there early on a clear day. It gets busy very early and the crowds get big. The view makes the hike totally worth it on many levels.

Beautiful place to view Mt. Fuji. Maybe the best season is the spring when all the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, but any season is good to come for seeing the Mt. Fuji. Better to come in the morning because you will have the sun behind and easier to take photos. Long and steep uphill (many steps) to get to the shrine, about 10 min from the bottom without resting, but worth the climb.

15 min walk from Shimoyoshida station. Steep climb of 400 steps. But the view is well worth it. Good facilities throughout.

Absolutely gorgeous view! For photographers trying to take pictures at sunrise make sure to get there 30 minutes earlier than you think. It is a bit of a hike to the top but the sight will take your breath away more than the stairs!

This place was unknown, even most Japanese are not aware this place existed until recent years. Although this place is the best place to view Mount Fuji, always including the Pagoda in the picture, I guess very few people (tourists) realize that this is a Shrine dedicated to pay honor to those who died in the War. Yes, this may be an amazing spot for tourist to see the grandeur and majestic beauty of Mt.Fuji, but let us remind ourselves that places like this in Japan should be treated with great respect, not just for sightseeing but for the reasons this places exist
