My husband and I have had excellent care here for over ten years. We would highly recommend Dr. Ouyang and Dr. Amara. Recently, we received excellent care from PA Villy.

Had same experience as another reviewer here. When you set up an appointment for wellness, they make you do it in two visits but they do not mention this over the phone when you make the appointment. This way they can charge you twice the money. Spent over two hours in the exam room, waiting and waiting, only for the Dr Treer to come in and not bother to read the clip board full of all the paperwork they required. There was no wellness exam, he told me I needed to come back for another appointment for that after being there for TWO HOURS. WHAT A WASTE OF TIME! People wonder why insurance is so high - requiring two separate visits for something that is normally accomplished in one! Have bombarded me with desperate attempts for reviews. Texted me 3x and emailed an additional 2x asking for reviews for the visit. When you google the address for where the outside party who manages their reviews, it's an empty lot in Dallas. Just remember, when you give your review via their portal, they get to use your info any way they please. The companies do not care about the patient it's all about manipulating.

I am not the person that write's negative reviews. In fact, I can say that I don't believe that I ever have, TILL NOW! What a \train-wreck\ this place is. I was first contacted on Thursday of last week to confirm my upcoming appointment on Monday. They informed me that since I had a cough, which was my reason for asking for the appointment to begin with, that they would be doing a virtual visit (COVID-19 protocol). I explained that I could do a virtual visit but that would not resolve what I am trying to get to, because I am having chest congestion and I would like someone to actually listen to my chest.....long story, at any rate, she checked with someone and they agreed to see me in person but she stated that the appointment would be next Tuesday (appt was originally on Monday for virtual.) I show up on Tuesday and they tell me that my appointment was yesterday (Monday). I explained to them what I was told. They agreed to allow me to see someone else (I was a new patient anyway) and began to ask me the COVID-19 Questions and then took my temp (98.4) and gave me the paperwork to begin. While I was filling out the paperwork, someone comes out to tell me that because of my symptoms they would not be able to see me because of my symptoms. Really!! No fever, no headache, just sinus/allergy type symptoms and you won't see me!! Totally uncaring, unapologetic. They wanted to efer\ me elsewhere, REALLY?? I would NOT RECOMMEND this group for anything, and I will not use them myself. Too bad, so convenient to my location.

I saw Dr. Treer for what I thought was an annual physical exam. Turned out it was a “new patient visit.” Ok, on me for not asking better questions when setting it up. We talked for about 20 min about my concerns and general health. He then informs me on my way out that we’ll setup the lab and health exam for another date. Ok... so I pay my bill on the way out. 150 (I have a high deductible plan). Then I get a bill 2 weeks later for an additional amount. The 1-800 Texas health operator doesn’t know what it’s for. I call the office directly, someone gets me to the office manager, who says my exam was “complex,” and complex visits get billed at a different rate/code. She can’t recite what was complex about my new patient exam, just says “don’t worry, we have a comprehensive audit process.” So I literally talk to the doc for 20 min, no procedures or lab work...nothing, and the total cost is 250. I’m pretty sure the complex code requires 10 systems to be reviewed. My opinion, he found a way to get me close enough to the “complex” billing code and found an opportunity to charge more. I did have an ekg done while there, but there was a separate cost for that....still haven’t received the results. On me to follow up I suppose, but this place seems shady, not worth my time nor will I go back. An unfortunate experience that appears to feed into the stereotype that many docs’ priority is to make money, not care for the patient...which is unfortunate because it gives a bad name for those who are doing the right thing and practicing because they genuinely want to and aren’t in it for the money. I’d suggest one consider elsewhere if your health plan allows. (Sorry for the long review).
