Great place for all your fire protection needs
Sucks!! Bought a Exit Light with Emergency backup lights for 70 for my new location. Next day I saw I had one at home so I went back and told the guy if I could get a refund as I did not need it. He told me there were no refunds on electrical parts. I told him it was still in the box, never opened never, used and if I could get a partial refund maybe 30 or 40. Again he said no refunds as he could not return it to the factory. Again I told him he did not have to as it was new in box, he could sell it again and I would take a loss. \Sorry but I could not sell it with any warranty\ he said. Why? it's brand new!! He did not offer me any warranty when I bought it anyway!! It's my fault for not buying at the Home depot or some other serious place where I can get a refund for a brand new unopened item bought the day before. Now I have a 75 paper weight. I've always serviced and bought my fire extinguishers here in the past but I'm taking my business elsewhere from now on.
I had a great exprience with them, spoke on the phone with few companies, the spoke to the guy in this business name Frank , he was very knowledgeable and didnt try to make money on me, so he seemed honest, i went with my fire extinguishers to their location, and he was pretty quick to judge them, and to replace 2 of them one was a recall, and the other just expired, my third one was ok but i figured i might just get the whole 3 new and that it, but he told me that i really shouldnt i have the 2 , and the third one is not very old couple years only, so that what i did. he saved me money. and then i understood they do illumination as well, and that was another thing i needed to do in the inspector report, so i told them to come he really made much effort to come the next day, his tech was very nice person, came , fix the problem, had a fair price. and from now on im going to use them each year in my yearly inspection. i recommend them.
No doubt it is the best fire extinguisher company in Broward County. I have had several bad experiences with several other companys who never show up when they said they would to service the apartments many exinguishers. Latour has always been on time & had the best price. Once i needed to replace a fire extinguisher case's glass paine that was broken. Latour came out the same day, replaced it and did not even charge me. You cannot beat their service or their prices.
