Loved the vehicle, staff was ok...but wanted 8,000 over sticker! (Not good business practice, drive off the lot in the hole as far as value of the vehicle - not sure insurance would cover) Would not go there and would not recommend ANYONE to them, friend or foe.

I gave the dealer 500.00 to hold an incoming vehicle for me. When the vehicle arrived, it was just what I wanted. While doing the final paperwork I discovered they were attempting to charge me almost 8,000.00 over MSRP / sticker price. When I questioned them on it they replied it was "market" pricing and they were charging over MSRP for high demand vehicles. They told me that price would be the best price I could find anywhere in the country. I declined to purchase the vehicle for their "market" price. I was subsequently able to find 2 other dealers more than happy to sell me the same vehicle for MSRP, almost 8000.00 less than Crain's "market" price. In my opinion this unethical practice should not be allowed by Genesis. Placing a customer in a large negative equity position from day one on a vehicle purchase is just bad business. If Genesis wants to be considered a serious player in the luxury car market, they will have to clean up this type dealer behavior.
