Crystal clear beach. Beautiful. Not rubbish at all. Better than other beaches. Even saw fishes near the sand. But still tastes like a beach, salty, the water just goes in you mouth. Try to avoid that, just have fun.

Do I have some memories from here. I have only been there once, because I am not a local, but the memories will stay with me. My experience involved the Surf Coast Trail Marathon. The surf club was the finish of the event. I ran for 5 hours through pouring rain and to end it here was a pleasure. Running up the stairs from the beach wasn't a pleasure but the rest was. I had a very cold beer and settled into their function space very nicely for an hour or so. Like most surf clubs they have a fabulous view of the beach and surrounds. If your in the area I would recommend dropping it to check out their hospitality.

I was quite disappointed with my recent meal at the SLSC. The parmigiana came out suspiciously fast (giving me the impression it was reheated and served). The batter was soggy, and the chicken quite dry. For 26 I was hoping for a lot more. The beer is cheap and the scenery spectacular, fortunately that saved the day.
