Really fun place to learn about the pipeline and dredge for gold. Everyone gets some gold so it's well worth the visit. Awesome gift show and train tour. Would definitely go again!

Had a wonderful time here. There's a mini train to take you to the Gold Dredge #8 and show the history of gold mining. The Dedge #8 is amazing. Crazy what people will build and do to get gold. Afterwards pan for gold - everyone's a winner, guaranteed. And then pay extra to get your gold flakes turned into a broach to wear afterwards :-)

What a great place to learn about dredging, gold panning, and the history of it all. It’s a great experience for all ages! The staff and service is top notch. The hands-on gold panning is a lot of fun.

Excellent attraction. Love they way they educate about the Pipeline and Gold mining. The gift shop is some of the best souvenirs and prices you will find in Alaska. The train ride is fun as well. Good luck at panning your own gold!

Had a wonderful time on this tour. Had a ride on the train and learned the history of dredge #8 and my wife and I panned 56 in gold which we put in our charm on a magnet. We even got a chance to hold a 75,000 gold nugget.
