Thank you for all the staff on the emergency department, Abby and Robin Ling ward! (13-14/02/21). Everyone was super fast, helpful and sweet. Comforted me while I was there for an operation! ️ Thank you again!!!

I used the RD&E in December 2020 and Jan 2021 with my daughter who had broken her leg. The staff - clinicians, admin team, cleaning staff and porters - were without exception friendly and patient, and the quality of care was excellent. We appreciate this even more given the huge pressures hospitals are under due to the pandemic. Thank you.

I was rushed in in the early hours of the morning and from the minute I arrived (the paramedics were wonderful too), I was treated with total respect and endless care and patience. It’s not until you’re in hospital that you appreciate how hard everyone works. The things they did for me were above and beyond anything I would expect - I won’t be more specific but suffice it to say, I wouldn’t enjoy doing it. I’m so grateful that these wonderful people do them with a smile and good humour. The doctors are incredibly caring and explain things clearly. They obviously care immensely for their patients. The nurses aren’t called angels for no reason. I have just experienced the worst time in my life in the best place I could have been. Thank you Mere Ward and Abbey Ward.

Following a fall from my bike in which I broke my femur I had absolutely first class treatment from the minute paramedics attended, through A and E, surgery the following day and care on Durbin Ward. Everyone was encouraging, professional and available: the atmosphere on the ward between colleagues was very positive. Thank you to all.
