Quinta dos Vales is a nice and quiet retreat, as can be expected in this area. The lodgings on site were clean and easily accessible. The premises were clean, well manicured and the staff was friendly when available during working hours. You can sit overlooking parts of the vineyard while enjoying their available tastings. Just make sure you have a vehicle to get into town because it's a bit of a walk. Otherwise, you're at the mercy of ride-shares to get back and forth to explore, then need delivery for food if you do not buy groceries to keep on site. When possible, take the leisurely stroll around the allowable areas of the premises, look at the many sculptures, have a picnic, dip in the pool, there's even a small kids area with a play kitchen. If you need a quiet retreat, then this is the place. Tucked away in the corner, but only a quick ride to the surrounding restaurants, or entertainment not fast away.

One of the best and most unique wine estates I have ever visited! I absolutely loved it! Drinking wine surrounded by beauty. The art work along with amazing wine makes this place stunning.

Lovely estate with interesting sculptures and artwork dotted around the grounds definitely worth a visit to get away from the beach and explore a bit more. Wine tasting was fun and enjoyable drinking it out on the deck overlooking the vineyards in the afternoon sun. Wines were OK

Had a nice excursion of the winery. It was a great experience to know lot of interesting things about wine and how it is made and types of wines. Experience is worth million. The detailed explanation of the wine, the process of growing, picking, making and storing was absolutely fantastic.

My wife and I did a wine tour of this winery and found the estate beautiful and extremely well maintained. There is art work throughout the estate which was stunning. The wine tour was given by Claudio who was extremely informative and had a great sense of humour. We learned of the various types of grapes that are used in the process of making different wine. We than sampled four wines and had an opportunity to purchase some as well. This is one of the nicest wineries I’ve visited and would strongly recommend it to others.
