The beautiful garden where you can spend your entire daytime. If the climate supports you that could be the best nature experience in the Edinburgh city. Each year, the garden decorate various trees with light and it create a mystic place. Though the Botanic Light remain crowded but it remain joyful and enjoyable. I have uploaded three small clips of such video. Please like if you like the video.

good that they're including a ticket based system to ensure the gardens aren't too crowded. some places had one way systems or were shut off due to ice but otherwise a good way to spend time during the lockdown :)

I can't compare this particular Botanic Garden to any other as this is the only one I've been to, as a first this garden was great, a real treat. The variety of plants was vast and almost everything is labeled somehow, it's all very clean and green. I only had an hour and a half and probably only saw a small percentage of what they had on offer. You can let the kids go wild and free. The greenhouse was closed because at this time of the review covid-19 is a thing but everything else was accessable.

Despite having to book a slot it is worth going. It's calm and relaxing. You can walk around and enjoy all the little notes of what the plants are called - it is very informative and well looked after. You can donate at the entry if you wish to (I recommend) and the staff is very nice and friendly as well. The café is still open for take aways.

An outstanding attraction for locals and tourists, alike. Among the reasons to visit are the abundant squirrels, the variety of birds and of course plant life. On my most recent visit, I discovered the allotments beyond the enormous hedge. There you’ll find pumpkins, apples, pears and more produce. I saw a sign for a fruit and veg market, which I assume would sell produce grown on site. The water features are clean and impressive; very peaceful too. While the botanical gardens has free entry, there is a charge to enter the enormous glass houses- and I would recommend that everyone do that at least once. You’ll find even more amazing plants and fish inside there and the tallest traditional palm house in Britain, giving centrepiece to an enormous palm tree.
