The 888 Crew

A simple place and I was initially worried when you see so many dishes and such cheap prices but I am here to try new places to review and help such businesses that seem to be family run. I had the Chicken Kotthu which comes with a boiled egg and raitia as well as a helping of curry sauce on top. I was so pleased with this dish as it was full of flavour and had a nice simple kick which was not overpowering but it just goes to show such hidden treasures exist. There are so many options here I will be back and give further reviews of other dishes so stay tuned. More to come.

Delicious curries, especially the devilled chicken and biriyani, with really friendly staff! Would recommend anyone going past Queensbury station to grab some lunch/dinner

Good food at affordable prices. The uppam is thick and fluffy. The spinach vadas are soft. The daal vadas are crunchy to bite and soft on the inside. The veg rolls are perfect. Strings hoppers are a nice go to meal. The dosa needs some work.

I want there to check what the sir lankan cuisine is like so I ordered the mutton roll which was good and fresh with chill also got the puddu with vada which is highly recommended. This place was recommended by a firend who is also sir lankan thanks Mr T(thanush)
