Great day on the water! Watched the J-pod for about an hour. The kids played and we got to see them a lot. Deer Harbor Charters had binoculars for all of us on board (12), plus blankets! Trey, our naturalist, was very knowledgeable and friendly and Tom was so nice! Would we do it again? Yes! And we would book with Deer Harbor Charters!!! Orcas, sea lions, harbor seals, northern (stellar) seals, and bald eagles!!! Family friendly! Affordable with the off-season specials (March).

Breathtaking. We were pleasantly surprised to have such an incredible guide share so much information (often humorously) with us throughout the trip and then share photos (so much better than our amateur pics) before we docked. The captain gave us such a smooth ride and slowed or stopped for us to enjoy a killer whale, dolphin, harbor seals, bald eagles, Cypress sheep, and a kingfisher. Binoculars, blankets, snacks, and encouragement to wander and mingle on the boat enhanced our family’s experience.

Incredible service, friendly and very knowledgeable crew. I recommend this for a couple or family group. They made us feel very welcome and included everyone on the boat in conversations. Tom amd Natalie were awesome!

Knowledgeable and kind naturalists that care about the whales! Very comfortable boat with binoculars to borrow. Had a great time hanging out with a couple of hump backs, seals, and porpoises!

Biologist naturalist guide, and an exceptional captain, I learned some new stuff about all sorts of whales and saw lots of different wildlife! Also the boat was super comfortable!
