Cinema is great but after seeing an isense movie \Tenner\, the speech is drowned out by the environmental effects and everything is too loud. It's like they installed the Atmos system and left it on default setting making half the story a struggle to hear. 3 other customers were complaining about it as we left too...other than that, Odeon recliners are awsome but iSense isn't something I'm paying to use again.

I took myself, my lovely wife and her dear friend to The Odeon in Dundee to see A New Danny Boyle Film recently released called \Yesterday\ ... What a perfectly lovely cinematic treat we all had for just over twenty quid for all three. The parking there is free (something becoming very rare in this day and age) the popcorn and drinks are a bit pricey, but of good quality and served well by the fairly enthusiastic staff there who seem to be getting younger everytime I go to the movies. You forget how loudly the sound system greets your ears but forgive it when your film is basically a musical. It's all a bit of escape from the big bad world for a couple of hours ... and \Yesterday\ was a wonderful fantasy with \Beatles\ music beautifully worked in ... and a delightful 78 years old John Lennon included, magically played by the great Robert Carlyle. The Leading Actor, The Real Ed Sheeran and the Scrumptuous Lily James shone brightly. And, for the first time ever, I sat through all the never-ending titles ... which were accompanied by the original \Hey Jude\ ... what a thrill. A Film For The Summer, they touted ... and that's exactly what we got.
