The airport is great, it’s very spread out so give yourself extra time. Insider tip: plan to walk, a lot. Also Due to the COVID 19 restrictions, a lot of stuff is closed so make sure you check the information centers on what is actually open, so you don’t have to take a long walk down the terminal only to find out some thing isn’t open.

Friendly staff. I had more stress about getting ready than going through their check system. The train ride was cool. Everything is closed if you fly out early.

Great airport to fly in and out of. Pleasant staff, relaxing lounges and waiting areas. No long distance walk to required Gates. Good restaurants and shops. I love this airport. Never congested, except on occasions.

Clean airport and bathrooms, the 6ft is a little worrisome. They aren't enforcing the social distancing or mask mandates in the airport itself. We flew United and in the plane they were enforcing the mask over the nose which is great. Otherwise as long as you practice social distancing, should be fine.

Been using this airport since I was a child. Lovely structure, a few places to eat, can get there via bus, and lots of short term and long term parking. Make sure to get there early - not just because of security - but the Dulles Access Road is the main route that everybody uses to get there when staying in DC and, depending on the day or season, there can be a lot of traffic. Add snow and it can be a real nightmare.
