We traveled from Santa Barbara down to Downey just to try this restaurant. I was not disappointed the food was delicious! I follow them on Instagram and their food looked so good I said I must try. I had the carnitas tacos, the flavors were spot on, even the salsa was very tasty although I would have liked it a little hotter. My friend had the chilaquiles burger it looked really yummy, she said it was and it was very filling. As appetizers we had aguachile, the flavors were good and the heat was perfect although I would of liked maybe 2-3 more shrimp in there for the price. And last but not least what I was waiting to munch on since I first saw their pictures on Instagram is their esquites wih hot cheetos. They were to die for. I am a HUGE corn lover so I'm picky with my corn, but these were perfection. I will definitely go back I couldn't try any of their yummy looking drinks because I was driving but I will surely come back to try them and maybe stay for their social night.

Outstanding place to come in chill for drinks or grab a bite to eat. Staff were very friendly and courteous. One of my favorite places to visit while in Downey.
Very good drinks, especially the Paloma. The staff was attentive and very nice.
Great Bar and fantastic Bartenders! Upstairs patio and bar area also perfect for private parties and events!
Good food and great drinks! I had the smoked old fashioned and it was delicious. The service is not really good meaning they take forever to attend you and if you want another round well its another 15 minutes. They did however apologize for the delay. The upstairs is awesome really great. Nice dance floor and great drinks. Bartenders are fast. I wish they had more music variety. They only play Spanish music. I wish they had top 40, hip hop, house anything really. Will not go back because I don’t like Spanish music. But if they have a night with different music then I will go back.
Terrible table service. I’m writing this review as I sit here after 25 minutes of waitresses and managers walking by and not even acknowledging us. Come on! They see a couple sitting on an empty table without even a menu and don’t even make eye contact as they walk by. I had to ask someone walking by to give us a menu, and that same person never came back to see what we wanted. I finally had to get up and get drinks from the bar, the bartender was nice and quick. The food was good once we got to order.
Nice atmosphere at the rooftop. Nice people, good drinks. Cute patio furniture for table buyers.
Nice patio for sitting back and hanging out. Not so much for dancing om a Friday night. You'll have to go down stairs for that
