Friendly atmosphere for beginners but with the facilities to scale all the way up to the professionals. I have been using this gym consistently for well over a year now and both my young son and I enjoy taking classes here and learning new skills. I can't recommend Nic and the team highly enough, you will struggle to find people more passionate about what they do, while remaining friendly and approachable.

My 13 year old daughter started boxing lessons 8 mths ago. It has really helped boost her self esteem and confidence and she loves the sport. Very child friendly, great instructors and highly recommend.

Been going for around 6 months, doing K1 and BJJ now once a week each. Love it, can't get enough. Everyone is really sound and the instructors really know what they're doing!

Been training for a charity boxing event organised by Nic and his support and training has been superb. My wife has been training for fitness at the gym for a while and loves the sessions there. Our boys (5 and 11) also go to classes there and love it. Always a 5 out 5 for Nic and the team, whether it’s fitness or experienced martial arts training, they’ve got it covered!

Great club!Ive trained at other martial arts clubs round the country as my job often moves me about...but MMAX is one of tbe best. Nic Bale is a great instructor at the club, one of the best in the country i think. Couldn't recommended this place enough!

I've been going for 6 months now and I have more than enjoyed myself, not only has Nic Bale, the best instructor in the world, taught me the ways of self defence, but he has also opened my eyes to socialising. I have made some great friends whilst being there. The people there will kick the you know what out of you, but they are also super friendly. I couldn't recommend this place enough. Nic Bale is an amazing coach and has taught me very much in my boxing and K1 journey. Another coach there also coaches UFC fighters in London (such as 'The Dentist'), on their ground work. His name is Paul Hines, and he is the best Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu coach you could ever come across. Both of these men have instructed me for around 6 months and they are the best instructors I could ask for in the world of Mixed Martial Arts. Cheers guys!
