Potentially the best steak I've ever had!

We ordered gin and tonics on arrival and they put the whole bottle of tonic in! We ordered our food and were seated at our table when these were ready. Salt beef hash was very tasty along with the goat cheese tart and parfait. Unfortunately the salmon was a extremely tiny portion so very disappointed. Duck, Ox Cheek and Halibut were very good, the steak however was over cooked and tough. When staff enquired if everything was ok with meals he was advised that the steak was well over cooked and tough. No response. Despite only 3 tables being occupied no staff came to our table to enquiry if more drinks or wine would be required. Overall very disappointed. Would suggest changing your steak supplier !!
