Friendly service and delicious food. Bought a champagne glass with my mail and was offered a second one free of charge \offert par la maison\. A lovely and memorable evening. Highly recommend.

A relatively small restaurant that is located a little bit outside the area where all the restaurants are located. But don't let this fool you: this is the little gastronomic pearl where the chef likes to please you and seduce your taste papillary Of cause we took a fish dish (we were a stone throw from tho ocean) and finished it with a Cafe Gourmand. Well, I let you look at my pictures so you can decide whether the chef likes to seduce you or not We forget them sometimes but the staff was excellent and very nice

This place has a short 'a la carte' menu and lunchtime 'menu du jour'. Excellent value for carefully cooked and presented dishes served by super efficient and friendly young group of girls. We took the lunchtime menu, large prawns, whiting with vegetables and rhubarb crumble, 50cl of Rose and a coffee, 47 euros.

This was actually our third choice after the first two were fully booked, what a choice it turned out to be. We had the chefs' country pate as starter which had excellent flavour and perfect texture, and what was described as 'stuffed shellfish' which were actually giant clams in garlic butter, perfectly cooked and presented. Main course was even better, first up was '5 fishes', served with a velvety cream sauce, and green veg with potatoes, then veal chop with a rich stock reduction bursting with flavour, with creamy mashed potato and mushrooms. Both dishes were cooked to perfection. We shared the assorted chocolate dessert, again wonderful, with ice cream, fondant, ganache and a chocolate brownie, all equally superb. Service was friendly and fast, house wine was acceptable, total bill was 93 which was terrific value for the quality.

Stopped off for our final meal of the year in France before boarding the ferry. Wasn't expecting too much from the outside, but have to say.....very impressed. The good was excellent, (I had lamb stew), the waiting staff were very friendly, and at 61 euros for two main courses, one desert, four glasses of decent house wine and two coffees, I thought good value considering the quality of the food. Would definitely recommend, and I will definitely be using the same place next year!.
