La Casita has been in the neighborhood since 1975 and is still family run. Delicious food, fast friendly service, and great value too. Tamales are in big demand around Christmas and they only sell first come first serve, so go early for a great holiday treat. Otherwise call ahead for take-out.

This is a quiet, unassuming, neighborhood restaurant. The food is simple but tasty. Ground beef burrito, smothered in green chili with cheese is my go to dish. Just under 5. Amazing value. The breakfast burrito is good too. It can get busy at times, so getting a seat may require a short wait. If you can't wait, there's takeout.
We have been looking for good temples for 15 years. Nobody match the home made ones from some ladies we knew and are not making anymore. Someone told me about this place and I am very happy. The females have the right textrue, flavor and heat. Truly authentic. ️
Great tamales! Their take out is fabulous as well with fantastic pork green chili. It's even better when you can eat there. If you're in the southeast part of town, the La Casita in Parker is NOT related to the Tejon/Denver La Casita.
No one makes tamales like your grandma but Tamales by La Casita might be as close as you can get. Their masa isn't too dry and their red and green pork tamales have a good balance of flavor. For those that like their tamales that errs on the side of filling you might be disappointed by the price point (roughly 1 per tamale) is a good value for the money.
