True for any Ramkrishna Ashram, this too is serene and peaceful. They have accommodation facilities too for which you need to contact the Swamiji incharge there. This Ashram stands on a big premises. Area has enough parking area. Ashram Temple is one of main attractions. One can enjoy heavenly view of Mussoorie Hill from outside of temple.I went there several times. Peaceful, charming and spiritually rewarding the place is full of positive vibes. It is a really great spiritual place for meditation and introspection

Swami Vivekananda was born on 12 January 1863 in Kolkata as Narendra Dutt. His parents were Bhubaneswarwari Devi (a religious householder) and Vishwanath Dutt (an attorney in the Calcutta High Court). He was the most famous Hindu monk and patriot saint of India. His teachings and valuable ideas are the greatest philosophical property of India. He established the Belur Math and the Ramakrishna Mission. Saptami is celebrated every year after the full moon of Paushi Krishna Puja. Since 1985, the Government of India has declared the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda as National Youth Day on 12th January. The purpose of celebrating this day was to inspire the younger generation and develop their overall ideals in future generations. On this day people remember Swami Vivekananda and his contribution in the country. It is celebrated with great respect, including the centers of Ramkrishna Math and Ramkrishna Mission centers at the headquarters of Ramkrishna Mission. Many activities of this day, such as Havan, meditation, Mangal Aarti, devotional songs are celebrated by religious discourses, evening art, etc.
