Initial impression of the company was professional, 'meet the team' page on their website had me expecting I'd actually meet their team, not a couple of subbies. I understand this way of working isn't uncommon, but a bit of communication/heads up from BCS prior would've went a long way. Correct construction process not followed (as set out in their own method statement) due to delays in getting materials to site, which also caused a delay in the overall completion of the work. Further delays experienced due to inclement weather and worker illness, fair enough this can't be helped but I did feel like it led to the job being rushed to get finished. Told the job was complete however upon my own inspection from ground level, it was clear to see wall ties were not installed vertically the whole way up the elevations of the building (so not in accordance with building regs). BCS did arrange for sub-contractors to return to finish the job, they claimed a misunderstanding of the sketch plans was the cause of the confusion. I wasn't convinced. A professional looking company, not such a professional experience in my case.

Great company from start to finish. Had an issue with rising damp, surveyor came and found the problem. The work was carried out by a lovely team, polite, efficient and friendly guys who kept us informed throughout. My property was left in a clean and tidy manner. The communication from the office was also great. Would highly recommend BCS.

I contracted BCS to tackle an extensive Dry Rot problem, and Tanking two basements as part of a large scale renovation project which involved returning two 5 story properties from commercial to residential units in Newcastle City centre. The work took place over a year and half and BCS were extremely accommodating fitting around our program with their operatives making several visits to site, as and when required. I was very impressed with the quality of the work they carried out and they price was one of the best. They manage to be competitive by understanding the level of works that we, as the Main Contractor, could carry out ourselves thus making substantial savings. A great team all round, and one I can happily recommend.

Very friendly, efficient and professional. No problem in answering all my questions re the workings of the unit. The lads who installed the unit weren't too sure of the science of the workings, but Arron was very knowledgeable and helpful with the answers. I would recommend this company .
