If you've never been to Herrera's you are missing out! It is perfect Tex-Mex. Get the Jimmy's special if you're really hungry but lots of other options. And the Margaritas are some of the best anywhere! It's conveniently located to almost anywhere. We drive from Collin County and it's surprisingly easy to get to (Woodall Rogers takes you straight to it....take a right and you're there!) Who knew Tex-Mex Heaven was so easy to get to!

Truly a rustic but comfortable dining experience. But the food elevates the decor beyond words. Fresh salsa that defines simple and amazing salsa. Beef and guac nachos lived up to the memories from years ago. And my cheese enchiladas were sublime. I wake up craving Herrera's several times a year. So glad we were able to support them now. Please go there and enjoy true Mexican tradition.

I moved to Dallas 22 years ago and discovered this little Tex-Mex restaurant. I have followed them as they have moved from building to building a few times. Have taken all my foreign friends and other visitors there as it is simply the best place I have found. If they moved to Canada I would simply have to move with them. The staff is awesome and the food is amazing. The prices are better then your going to find anywhere else. I highly recommend the chimichanga or the Pepe or the jimmy or anything else on the menu. But only go after 6. That way you get the bean soup which is beyond any bean soup ever.
