Clean safe environment. Stylists and staff wore masks and visors. All customers encouraged to use gel, wear masks and follow social distancing rules. Elise was fabulous as always. My hair is cut exactly as I asked. I can definitely recommend Elise and this salon.

Really disappointed with my cut. First appointment was booked for 0945 and despite arriving early, I was seen 30 minutes late with no apology. During my appointment, i was left mid-cut for the stylist to check what the lady next in line wanted! I felt my appointment was rushed, when asked what i thought at the end I explained it was too thick on the sides still, but I was dismissed as the stylist likes big hair (i was given hair the shape of a rugby ball! Flat on top with extremely wide sides) Went back to get it corrected and it ended up much worse. I asked three times for the length to be left alone, the top & sides just needed to be thinned out as bit more (as I had asked for initially but was refuted). Instead of this, the stylist cut MORE off the length and did a tiny amount of thinning, exacerbating the issue. I asked for my hair to be cut dry, which the stylist agreed, but then proceeded to spray it sopping wet with water and combed it straight to cut. I get the feeling the stylist isn’t very experienced with cutting and styling naturally curly hair. I still have hair shaped like a rugby ball, but no way of hiding it now as it’s so short! I am too frightened to come back to have it fixed for a third time as i no longer have much hair left to play with! I am leaving this review in the hope your staff act with professionalism and learn to properly listen to their clients, be punctual and give customers the devoted time they have paid for. This was supposed to be a treat and a confidence booster for returning to work after having my first baby, and it has turned into my worst nightmare! I will never return to the Cwmbran salon.
