During our recent holiday in County Wexford, Ireland, May 2019, we visited as planned Cushendale Woolen Mill Shop in Graiguenamanagh, County Kilkenny, Thursday afternoon, May 23, 2019. We usually visit this shop whenever we want to buy woolen items. I bought woolen V - neck jumpers, scarf & a pair of mittens. My wife got several items for herself. They have a variety of woolen clothes & other items. Very good quality products. Highly recommendable.

A great tour of Cushendale Woollen Mills, Graignamanagh. One of the last woollen mills in Ireland full of history. The tour shows you exactly how they turn the raw wool into the blankets and other products. It is a family run business, Philip and Mary Cushen, along with their daughter Miriam and her husband Trevor provided such a warm welcome. Would highly recommend to all age groups for a visit!
Stopped there with my wife who is a knitter. Lots of history, and you get to chat with the people who are carrying on traditions from the local monks. They dye and weave their own wool. Our tour really covered only one room but lots of discussion on the history the technique s and what they are doing today
Very nice lady in there
A wonderful little out of the way woolen mill with beautifully hand knitted sweaters and blankets well priced and made by a staff of six on looms manufactured in 1890 and still producing! The staff gave us a personal tour! Not to be missed!!!!
