Had a very bad experience with this branch of Sixt. After returning van, was told I didn't need to stay for inspection, but then 5 days later, yes 5 days later, was told I had to pay 150 for damage. I inspected the vehicle 10 minutes before returning it and there was no damage, so was very surprised to get such a call. Whatever you do, stay with the vehicle until it has been checked. I would not recommend trusting the staff at this branch

The whole process from booking to collection was really easy. Upon collection, the Sales team in the office were super polite. I am a first time user of Sixt and would definitely use again as they made the whole process painless. From arriving in the office to collection was probably about 10 minutes. The car rental was spotless, seemed brand new and had lots of lovely added extras which I am still working my way through as I have rented the vehicle for a week it should give me enough time to check all the bells and whistles.

The additional address information and deposit was not clear when booking online. The staff were pleasant enough. Do not speak to central reservations for information on individual branches. Best to call the Croydon branch direct- central reservations don’t have a clue what even the opening times/days are there! It was a brand new van I had so, that was nice. If I needed to hire another vehicle again I would use this branch.

Tried their best to get me in a rental car even though the situation that had arisen was neither the sixt companys fault or mine! Tried to work with us to make it work. i was apprehensive regarding reviews left but I will be receiving a refund for my booking as they are understanding and helpful! make sure you bring 2 address IDs and the payment card used for booking needs to be the same for deposit. I will be using them again as the help from the gentleman on the front desk was exceptional!

I booked BMW 3 series or similar category vehicle, when I arrived to the station I was told that category is not available. In this case they should offer higher category with no extra charge. Well that never happened, they made me pay extra 60 for Audi Q3. The other issue was the car cleanliness, especially from outside a big spot was missed what wouldn't be a big problem but when you return the car they check it meticulously. Be careful!
